Doreen E. Planman

Visitation for Doreen Ellen Planman, 61, of Deer Park, will held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Mass will be said at 10:30 am on Friday at St. Francis de Sales Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. The Interment will be private.

Doreen was born on July 20, 1956 in Chicago and passed away after a 2 ½ year struggle with breast cancer on Friday, April 27, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her father Marvin Whetter and her niece Julianne Fogle.

Doreen is survived by her husband Wayne and son Jonathan both of Deer Park, IL.  She is also survived by her mother Janet Whetter of Mundelein, IL; sisters Diane Whetter of Mundelein, IL, Denise (Jeff) Fogle of Pittsburg, CA and brother David (Jill) Whetter of De Soto, KS; aunt of Chrissy (Karson) Thompson, Dana Whetter D.J. (Lori) Whetter, Ben Fogle and Grant Fogle; great aunt of Addison and Parker Whetter.

Doreen was a stay at home mom who loved to spend time with her family and friends.
