A Memorial Visitation for Dorothy A. Knutsen (nee Schmidt), 84, of Buffalo Grove, for 33 years, will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Father David Ryan will officiate.

Dorothy was born December 3, 1931 in Chicago and passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at home.

Beloved wife of Ed Knutsen, loving mother of the late Anita Stack; loving grandmother of Tony (Niki) Martin-Stack, Leesa (Rob) Beglinger,

Carolyn (late Matt) West, Mary Stack, Annamarie Gleason, Diana Stack; loving great-grandmother of Addison, Makala, Ethan, Lexi, Blake, Tyler, Joseph, Annaleese, Annabella, Gus; dear daughter of the late Frank and Anita (nee Ostertag) Schmidt; fond sister of Christine (Jim) Huntington and the late Jean (late Sandy) Perry and the late Joan (late Joe) Stack; sister-in-law of  Kathy (late Red) Swiatkowski, Wally Knutsen and Rich (Cindy) Knutsen; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
