Dorothy E. Roxworthy

Visitation for Dorothy Evelyn Roxworthy (nee Peterson), 89, of Friendship Village, Schaumburg, will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Funeral Services will begin Saturday, February 2, 2019, 10:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home. An Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington. The Reverend Warren Schilf will officiate.

Dorothy was born December 6, 1929 in Chicago, and passed away January 26, 2019 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.

She was the loving mother of James (Ruth) Roxworthy, Patrick (Janet Lyman) Roxworthy and Laurie (Cheri Boltz) Roxworthy; loving grandmother of John (Michelle) Roxworthy, Erin (Joseph) Cebulski, Brian (Chandana) Roxworthy, Erica (Chad) Curtis and Jaclyn Roxworthy; loving great-grandmother of Graham and Ella Roxworthy and Owen Curtis; dear daughter of the late Lillian (nee Calland) and Arnold Peterson; fond sister of the late Kenneth and Robert Peterson.

Dorothy worked for Community Consolidated School District 15 in Palatine for over 15 years.
