Dorothy L. Mcdaniel

Visitation for Dorothy L. McDaniel, 95, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Palatine will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. She will lie in state from 9:30 am until the time of the Funeral Service, 10:00 am on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton Street, Arlington Heights. The Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.

She was born on January 12, 1923 in Chicago, IL and passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Arlington Heights.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Palatine since 1957.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late James; mother of Patrick (Paula) McDaniel, Kathe (Robert) Slater and Wendy (Thomas) Horton; grandmother of Kimberly McDaniel, James McDaniel, Michelle (Gregory) Rose, Slate Raven, Denise (Moy) Delgado, Ryan (Tonya) Horton and Nicole (Joe) Stacy; great grandmother of 13; great great grandmother of 7; sister of the late Rose Johnson.
