Dorothy Wagner

Visitation for Dorothy Wagner, 84, of Palatine, will be held Monday, December 7, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 10:45 a.m. until the time of the Prayer Service, 11:45 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  Services will continue at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness, with a Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m.  The Interment will be Private.

Dorothy was born August 17, 1931, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Stanley and Bernice (Kossakowski) Thomas and died on December 5, 2015.

Dorothy and Bob moved to Palatine in 1967, and she retired from H.B. Fuller in 1989.  She was a longtime volunteer for many organizations including: Meals on Wheels, Holy Family Ministries, Misericordia Twice Blessed, Rolling Meadows Senior Center, Palatine Senior Center and Palatine Nurses Closet.

Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Wagner; loving mother of Ruth (Frank) Buchberger, Bob (Hiroko) Wagner and Christopher (Linda) Wagner; dear grandmother of Brent (Melissa), Sabrina and Tess Buchberger, Rohika (Julie), Rosako (Kojak), Khory, Kim, Alison and Casey Wagner; dear great-grandmother of Elise Buchberger; fond sister of Joanne (Norman) Maltby and the late Sally Serpico; sister in law of Dennis Serpico; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
