Douglas T. Thompson

Visitation for Douglas Thomas Thompson, 47, of Palatine since 1999, will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until the family and friends sharing time, 5:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Interment will be in Wishon Cemetery, Dillon Township, near St. James, Missouri.

Doug was born January 17, 1969 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois and he passed away February 21, 2016 at home in Palatine.

He was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan.  He enjoyed the outdoors and nature, and dearly loved his dogs, Jayme and Gypsy.

Survivors include his partner and soulmate, Brenda M. Teems; mother, Charlene (nee Fairbanks) Thompson; brothers, David (Diane) Thompson and Dean Thompson; nephew, Aaron Thompson.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Claud Thompson.
