Dr. Mary C. Shorey

Memorial Visitation for Dr. Mary Catherine Shorey, age 62,will be held on Friday, April 4th, 2014 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 5th, 2014, 10:30am at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.

Mary was born in 1951 in Appleton, WI and passed away on April 1, 2014 surrounded by her family.  She is the daughter of the late Asher and Carol (Lenz) Shorey.  Loving mother of Nicholas (Jessica) Vondrak and Natalie (Steven) Daley; dear sister of Ruth (Dan) Johnson, Jim (Pat) Shorey and John (Fran) Shorey.

Mary was a devoted teacher at Pritchett Elementary School in Buffalo Grove for 24 years.
