Dr. Susan Rae Loeschen

Dr. Susan Rae Loeschen, loving mother, grandmother and teacher, 58, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 in Barrington, IL.  She was born in 1955 in North Chicago, IL to Daniel and Barbara Epifano.  Sue served a life dedicated to education, achieving National Board and master
teacher status and a doctorate, Ed.D in Curriculum and Instruction.  Sue worked as a 2^nd grade teacher in Barrington, IL for 23 years.  Sue is survived by her soul mate, Rick D’Ambrosio, Sr.; daughter, Lindsey [Ian] Koehler; son, Daniel Loeschen; grandchildren, Rylan and Raegan Koehler; sister, Deborah Krawczyk; nieces Jessy and Tera Krawczyk.  Sue leaves a legacy we will never forget.  A Memorial Visitation will be held in celebration of Sue’s life on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home 415 S. Buesching Road in Lake Zurich, IL.  In lieu of flowers, a donation would be greatly appreciated to JourneyCare Hospice  405 Lake Zurich Rd.
