Edna R. Wachs

     Memorial services for Edna R. Wachs, 98, of Inverness since 1961, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Palatine, 123 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatin.  The Reverend Michael B. Morris will officiate. The interment was private.

Edna was born September 9, 1914 in Chicago, and she passed away July 21, 2013 at home in Inverness.

Edna was the beloved wife of the late Daniel P. Wachs; loving mother of Holly (Thomas) O’Connell and Theodore (Elisabeth) Wachs; loving grandmother of Kristin (Rob) Burt, Claudia (James) Wong, Stefan (Elena) Wachs and Jason (Fiance, Katie Bailey) Fulford; loving great-grandmother of Elliott Wong and  Avery Rose Burt; dear daughter of the late Edgar Albert and Emma Louise (nee Doescher) Rickard; fond sister of the late Doris Engelhardt.
