Edward J. Burchert

Visitation for Edward J. Burchert, 60, of Rolling Meadows, will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Prayers will begin, Friday, October 27, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, and proceeding for Mass at 10:00 am at St. Colette Catholic Church, 3900 Meadow Drive, Rolling Meadows. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Edward was born May 17, 1963 in Des Plaines, and he passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 in Rolling Meadows. Edward was the loving father of Allyssa Burchert, Brianne (Ian) Cecala, Edward Mark Burchert and Matt Burchert; dear son of Edward W. and Carroll J. (nee Rocco) Burchert; fond brother of David (Barb) Burchert, Julie (Robert) Michel and John Burchert.

He was an avid reader. He loved flowers, cooking and baking. Most of all, his family was everything to him.
