Edward Coughlin Iii

A Memorial Visitation for Edward Coughlin III, age 37, will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, Illinois.

Edward passed away unexpectedly in his home of San Francisco, CA in late February of 2021.  Edward was the dear son of Ed and Pam Coughlin, fond brother of Mark and Kaitlin Uthus, and husband of Linda Coughlin.

He was living his dream of running and owning his own restaurant The New Village Café on Polk Street in San Fransisco, a city he loved.  A Chicago transplant in Southern California for over 15 years he moved to Northern California after graduating UCSD in 2015 and found his dream career.  He was loved and cherished in his community and enjoyed meeting and greeting every guest that entered his business.  He will be greatly missed on Polk Street but his legacy will live on with Linda running the establishment.
