Edward was born July 5, 1942 in Chicago, and he passed away October 22, 2015 at home in Lake Zurich.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and sketching.

Survivors include his children; Roberta ( Mitchell ) Valley, Wendy ( David ) Martin and Joel (Tammy) Klein; grandchildren, Deslonde (Bentley) , Gregory (Ruthie), William, Garrett, David, Ashley, Joel, Jessica, Julia and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Millie and Monet; and his brother, Robert (Carol) Klein.
