Elaine D. Rodey

Visitation for Elaine Deanna Rodey (nee Boltz), 78, of Arlington Heights, will be held Monday, January 9, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Interment will follow at Lithuanian National Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.

Elaine was born August 5, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away suddenly on January 3, 2023, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Elaine was the beloved wife of Fred W. Rodey; dear daughter of the late John and Martha (nee Srugis) Boltz; fond sister of Martha (Chuck) Taylor; sister-in-law of the late Diane Rodey and Cathy (Linus) Griswold. She was the loving aunt of Heather (Will) Cooper and Matt Griswold, and great aunt of Camden Cooper.

Elaine was formerly employed at WLS TV (Ch.7) in Chicago and NBC in Los Angeles. She also had a great love for pets and enjoyed traveling with Fred.
