Eleanor L. Skarda

Visitation for Eleanor L. Skarda, 87, of Schaumburg, formerly of Mt. Prospect, will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine and from 9:30AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30AM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness.  The interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.

Eleanor was born on January 11, 1928 in Berwyn, IL the daughter of the late Walter and Josephine (nee Kubiak) Langer and passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015.

Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Earl J. Skarda; loving mother of Diane Hartman and the late Russell Skarda; cherished grandmother of Brittany and Sheridan Hartman; dear sister of Rita Corbin; sister in law of Karen Langer; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
