Elizabeth J. Ackerman

A Visitation for Elizabeth J. Ackerman (nee Sutter), 91, of Palatine, will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Visitation will continue Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m. at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon Street, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169. An Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines.

Elizabeth was born March 31, 1927 in Chicago, and passed away December 12, 2018 in Arlington Heights.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Edwin Ackerman; loving mother of William Frey, Richard Wedrall and of the late Elizabeth Carney (née Wedrall); loving grandmother of 11; loving great-grandmother of 21; dear daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth Sutter (née Gallagher); fond sister of Maureen Medema (née Sutter) and of the late Mary Sutter, Barbara Kousourou and Robert Sutter.
