Visitation for Elizabeth “Betty” Stolfa, 84, of Arlington Heights, will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Family and Friends will meet at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 400 S. Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL (meet outside of the main office).
Betty was born on July 1, 1933 in Chicago, IL to Arthur and Ruth Welling. She peacefully went to heaven on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.
Betty was the hostess at the Dunton House Restaurant in Arlington Heights for over 30 years. An avid photographer, she enjoyed taking pictures of her friends and family. Among her many activities she enjoyed were sewing and crafting. Being a devoted Christian, she was very compassionate and always praying for others. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be missed by all.
Betty is the wife of Richard “Dick” Stolfa, who she married on September 10, 1955. She is also survived by her children, Eileen (Jamie) Munce, Carol (Larry) Nisle, William Stolfa, Judy (Robert) Ramsey, Lisa (Robert) Biancalana; grandchildren, Sarah, Larry Jr., Michelle, Nicole, Stephanie, Will, Ryan, Lauren, Tony, Daniel and Theresa; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Max, Jack, Colton, and Mack; and her dear dog, Rocky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary, Mary’s husband, Joseph Caraher; and her great-grandson, Cody.
