Services and Interment for Ellie “Ellie” A. Race (nee Kaisto), 94, of Arlington Heights and Buffalo Grove, will be private.

Ellie passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017.

Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Thomas A.; loving sister of Lilly, Lila, Anya, Henry, Helvie, Eva, Ruth, Nora, Karen and Martin; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader and loved nature and animals, especially her dogs.  Ellie enjoyed spending winters in Stuart, Florida and spending summers in northern Minnesota where she was born.
