Elsie Morton Barish

Visitation for Elsie Morton Barish, 89, of Lake Barrington, formerly of Mt. Prospect for 43 years will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. She will also lie in state from 9:30am until time of service at 10:00am on Thursday at Messiah Lutheran Church, 25225 W. Ivanhoe Road, Wauconda. An interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights. She was born Sept. 2, 1923 in Grand Rapids, MI. She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Mt. Prospect for 50 years, she also loved dancing & golf. Elsie was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late Ray Barish; mother of Laurie Barish Holmquest and Bonnie (Ron) Barish Thiel; grandmother of Tom (Tracy), Jeni (Tim), Amber (Josh), the late Nick & Krystal (Steve); great grandmother of Amanda, Kaytlin, Autumn, Jake, Adam, Joshua, Max & Abby; special friend of the late Glen Robbins. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to Messiah Lutheran Church, Wauconda, IL or Community Presbyterian Church, Mt. Prospect, IL.
