Evelyn Orlando

Visitation for Evelyn Orlando, 98, of Palatine, formerly of Elk Grove Village, will be from 9:00AM until the time of the Funeral Mass, 10:30AM on Monday, November 13, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  An Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Evelyn was born on December 27, 1918 in Rauch, MN the daughter of the late John and Tyklia (nee Kraynak) Woitel.  She passed away on Tuesday, November 07, 2017 with her family by her side.

Evelyn was a well-cared-for resident of St Joseph’s Home in Palatine, a prolific reader, gardener, and an avid baseball fan, following the White Sox for many years and enjoying every game.

Evelyn was the loving mother of Sharon Louise Presto; mother-in-law of Joe Arrigo; proud grandma of Elena, Annie, and the late Joey Arrigo; and dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Andrew and Mike Woitel, Mary Lucke, and Rose Smith.
