Freida Bootz

Services and Interment for Frieda Bootz, 92, of Niles, will be held privately with the Immediate family at Ridgewood Cemetery. A public Memorial Service will be held at a future date.

Frieda died July 17, 2022, after an extended illness.

Frieda Marie Margaret Fuelster was born in Davenport, Iowa. After graduating from high school, she got a job with Dunn and Bradstreet, and a while later was transferred to Chicago, where she met and married Robert Bootz. She remained in the Chicago area the rest of her life, where she raised her family and made many cherished friends.

She is the loving mother to Tarissa Galvan (Larry), Suzanne Pierz (Stan), Laurie Obrzut (Gary), Robert Bootz (Tracy) and John Bootz (Jessica).

She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Laurie. She was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was very close to her entire family and was surrounded by many family members in the hours preceding her death.
