Gary P. Burzawa

Visitation for Gary P. Burzawa, 65 of Palatine, will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 9:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 11:00AM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.

Gary was born on January 18, 1951 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Paul and Virginia (nee: Kolacki) Burzawa.  He passed away unexpectedly early on Sunday morning, June 12, 2016.

Prior to the retirement of Gary in 2006, he had worked as a lineman and crew leader for Commonwealth Edison for more than thirty years.  Some of the things that Gary enjoyed were fishing, fast cars, antique vehicles and his dog, Louie.  Most important in Gary’s life was the love he had for his wife and daughter.  

Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Sandra (nee: Basel) Burzawa and his cherished daughter of Alyse Burzawa.
