Gene R. Pratt

Visitation for Gene R. Pratt, 81, of Palatine for 59 years, will be held from 4:00pm until 9:00pm with a Masonic Service held at 7:30pm on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Funeral Services will take place at 10:00am on Friday at St. John United Church of Christ, 308 N. Evergreen, Arlington Heights. The Interment will take place at Windridge Cemetery in Cary.

He was born on August 15, 1941 in Earlville, IL and passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

Gene was a past Worshipful Master of Palatine Lodge #314 and a member since 1978, member of the O.E.S. Palatine Chapter #585, past Patron for O.E.S., member of the Medina Shriners, 32^nd Degree of the Valley of Chicago, Bethel Commandery No. 36 Knights Templar, Palatine.

He was an avid wood worker, golfer, loved baseball, and a volunteer at the V.A.

Gene was the loving husband of the late Judy A. (nee Steilen); father of Julie (Mike) Ercoli, Paul (Kathy) Pratt and Mark (Lisa) Pratt; grandfather of Nicholas, Kiera, Haley and Matthew; son of the late George and Irene Pratt; brother of Howard (Lenore) Pratt, uncle of numerous nieces and nephews and a friend to many.
