George E. Dionesotes

     Prayers for George E. Dionesotes, 87, of Salem, Oregon, formerly of Palatine, will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, Illinois 60067; where he will lie in state from 8:30 a.m. until the time of prayers.  Funeral Mass will follow Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 465 N. Benton St., Palatine, Illinois 60067.  Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington, Illinois.

George was born October 22, 1925 in Chicago and passed away June 2, 2013 in Salem, Oregon.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret Catherine (nee: Joadwine) Dionesotes; loving father of  Jeffrey (Linda) Dionesotes, Christopher (Sam Portaro) Dionesotes, David (Nicole) Dionesotes, and Daniel (Diane) Dionesotes; loving grandfather of Jesse (Kristine) Dionesotes and  Noah (Jillian) Dionesotes; loving great-grandfather of Gwendolyn, Penelope, Morgan, and Mia; dear son of the late Esther (nee: Olsen) and Thomas Dionesotes; fond brother of William (late Gertrude) Dionesotes, Donald (late Carol) Dionesotes and the late James Dionesotes; and brother-in-law of Diana Dionesotes.
