George M. Haddad

Visitation for George M. Haddad, 78, of Palatine since 1979, will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Melkite Catholic Church, 200 E. North Avenue, Northlake, IL 60164.  The Visitation will continue Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Melkite Catholic Church, Northlake.  The Interment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

George was born June 24, 1936, in Jarash, Jordan to the late Massoud and Tammam Haddad, and he passed away February 28, 2015 in Arlington Heights.

He received his bachelor of engineering degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago.  He was a civil engineer with the United States Air Force.

He was a devoted husband to Mai (née Matalka); loving Father to Nidal (Chris Kuinius), Husam (Meghan O’Connell) and Ehab (Lisa Haddad); proud grandfather to Daniel, Nicholas, Christopher, Sarah, Mathew, Mark, Jacob and Margaret; brother of Najla, Georgette, Tuffaha, and Joseph and the late Khalil, Adib, Nijmeh, Mary and Basil.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. John the Baptist Melkite Catholic Church, 200 E. North Ave, North Lake, IL, 60164.
