George R. Richter Jr.

Visitation for George (Jerry) R. Richter Jr., 91, of Palatine, will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Interment will be private.

Jerry was born October 10, 1932, in Chicago and passed away surrounded by his family, August 17, 2024, at home, in Palatine.

George was the beloved husband of the late Patricia A. Richter and is survived by his second wife, Bonnie Heintz; loving father of Richard (Rachel Pani) Richter and Holly (Chris) Farrell; dear son of the late George and Mildred (nee Roux) Richter.

His love for aviation took him thru the Air Force to working for Ozark, then United Airlines as an aircraft mechanic, working his entire career over nights. Interests include Palatine Masonic Lodge #314, Golfing, Senior Softball, Senior Olympics and Pinochle, but any card game will do.
