Gladys D. Johnson

Memorial Services and Interment for Gladys D. Johnson, 94, of Palatine for 36 years, will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016, 1:00 pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights.  The Reverend Jim Andrews of Hope Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Born September 16, 1921 in Chicago, she died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Silverado Senior Living Center in Lake Zurich.

She was a charter member of Hope Lutheran Church of Long Grove and an avid Cubs fan.  Gladys was a retired Dental Assistant.

She was the loving wife of the late Leonard;  beloved mother of Wayne (Donna) Johnson and Karen (Paul) Draver; cherished grandmother of Diane (Thomas) Moran and Leonard (Heather) Johnson; great grandmother of Michael Moran, McKayla Johnson, Jaylynn Johnson, Nicholas Moran and Colton Johnson; sister of the late Ann Hannon and the late Lillian Rhodes; aunt of four nieces, three nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
