Gloria E. Devries

Memorial Services for Gloria Edna DeVries, 90, of Palatine, will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016, 2:00PM at All Saints Lutheran Church,  630 S. Quentin Rd, Palatine.  There will be a fellowship with the family, at the church, after the service.

Gloria was born on June 13, 1925 in Pasadena, CA to George Arthur and Edna Iola (nee Nagle) Schwabland.  She passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, March 18, 2016.

Loving mother of Dianne (Ron) Sever, Linda (David) McGuire- Nagawiecki, Carol (Tom) Hopkins-Witucki; loving grandmother of Brittany Sever, Kyle Sever, Gretchen (Tom) Farrell, Sean (Courtney Gary) McGuire, Garrett McGuire, Daniel Nagawiecki, Emily and Eli Hopkins;  loving great-grandmother of Andrew, Natalie, Grady Farrell, & Maggie Mae McGuire.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Albert John DeVries, Jr.
