Gloria Jean Diduch (Durinski), mother, beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and special friend to many, passed into everlasting life on November 2, 2021. Born in Chicago, Illinois on February 21, 1930, Gloria resided with her beloved husband, Jerry, in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, where she was very active in playing important roles in her church and community functions. Gloria and Jerry later relocated to Joplin, Missouri for 8½ years, before moving on to Mobile, Alabama. In 2015, Gloria moved back to Illinois, to be near her family through her final years. Gloria and Jerry were known for the wonderful parties they hosted and made tons of life-long friends everywhere they went. Her house was open to all.
She is survived by her son, Steven G. (Margo); her grand-daughter, Melissa Schock (Marc); her grandsons, Michael (Jessica) and Jeffrey; and her 6 dearly loved great-grandchildren, Ethen, Colin, Logan, Dominik, Andre and Caiden. Gloria held all of them very close to her heart, and always enjoyed talking, laughing, catching up on what they were doing in their lives and reminiscing with them. She is also survived by her loving aunt, Lillian Zielke; her special niece and God-daughter, Jackie Janicek; many nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and a host of wonderful friends she treasured throughout her life.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry, of 47½ years, Gloria cherished the time they had together, always referring to her marriage as a match truly made in Heaven.
