Grant R. Rich

Visitation for Grant R. Rich, 61, of Lake Zurich, will be held at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm.  Visitation also will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service, 10:30 am at St Matthew Lutheran Church 24500 N. Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods.

Grant passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. He was born June 27, 1954 in Chicago, IL.

His passion for skiing, boats, road trips to New Hampshire, and his family brought great joy to his life.

Grant is the beloved husband of Nancy Rich (nee Werderitch); devoted father of Grant J. Rich, Lindsey Rich, and Lauren Rich; cherished son of Grant L. Rich & Margaret Rich; dear bother to Gayle Rich Irick, Gregg (Kim) Rich and Glenn Rich; loved nephew, cousin, uncle and friend to many.
