Gregory S. Fox

Funeral Services and Interment for Gregory Stephen Fox, 71, of Lake Zurich since 2002, will be held later this year.

Greg was born October 31, 1950, in Chicago, and passed away January 16, 2022, at home surrounded by his family in Lake Zurich.

Greg enlisted in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.  Following his discharge, he joined the Chicago Fire Department where he worked as a Paramedic for 24 years. The past few years he enjoyed his time with friends at the Lake Zurich and Wauconda VFW Posts. Greg was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. His greatest joys in life were his grandchildren.

Greg was the beloved husband of Gayle S. Fox (nee Stein); loving father of Jeff (Amy) Fox and Adam Fox; loving grandfather of Hunter, Ryder, and Harper; dear son of the late Edward and Elaine (nee Wilcer) Fox; fond brother of Timothy (Linda), Barbara (Ronald) Blasinski, Michael CFD (Pam), Patricia (Richard) Rozycki, and Jane (Michael CPD) Stec.
