Guido F. Asmus

Services for Guido F. Asmus, 50, a resident of Lake Zurich since 2005, will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 with the Visitation beginning at 12Noon and continuing until the time of the Funeral Service, 4:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  The Interment will be private.

Guido was born on July 23, 1965 in Germany the son of Winfried J. and the late Helga U. (nee Reiners) Asmus and passed away at his home on Sunday, November 8, 2015.

Guido is survived by his beloved wife Margaret M. Babiarz; his loving father Winfried J. Asmus; dear aunt Evelyn Wratschko; treasured cousin Winfried Wratschko, whom was like a brother to Guido, having grown up in the same building together and having shared many life experiences with one another as well as his cousin Robert Wratschko and many more.

To Guido every stranger was a friend he hadn’t met yet. Guido would always go out of his way to help people. He truly made this world a better place.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Guido, would be appreciated to the family to help with medical expenses.
