Halland B. Juell

Memorial visitation for Halland (Hally) B. Juell, 64, of Park Ridge, will be held Sunday July 22nd from 4:30pm to 8:30pm Glenview Park Golf Club, 800 Shermer Rd, Glenview. Hally was born August 22, 1953 in Lake Forest, Illinois, and he passed away July 10, 2018 in Palatine.

He was the loving father of Heather (Tony) Sawicki and Tracy (Kenyze Henderson) Juell; loving grandfather of Gus and Lucy Sawicki and Charlie and Bella Henderson; dear son of the late Birger and Anne Juell and Evelyn (nee Parsons) Juell; friend and ex husband of Catherine (nee) Gilfoy.

Hally’s greatest passion and excitement was watching his four grandkids play sports, dance or just spend time together. His second greatest passion was golf and playing with his friends and family. He even joked that one day he hoped to compete in the Senior PGA. Hally was hard working his entire life. For the better part of his life he created some of the most beautiful hardwood floors you will ever see, a trade he learned from his father. Hally also worked for Hines Lumber and the railroad early on. Hally loved his sweets and always having his butter softened. He had a love of baseball, especially the Cubs and it was a dream come try to watch them win the World Series. Hally (Papa) was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
