Harold H. Schmalbeck, a lifelong resident of Des Plaines.

Visitation for Harold H. Schmalbeck will held at the G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue., Des Plaines, on Friday, May 3^rd from 3:00PM to 8:00PM.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at 11:00AM also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Town of Maine Cemetery in Park Ridge.Harold was born on October 30, 1932 in Wood Dale, IL the son of the late William L. and Anna (nee Exon) Schmalbeck and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1^st.  Most important in Harold’s life was the love and care he had for his family.  Harold was the beloved husband of 57 years of the late Doris A. Schmalbeck; loving father of David W. Schmalbeck and Linda (Michael) Brooks.  He will also be missed by many dear friends and neighbors.  In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for the charity of the donor’s choice.
