Hazel H. Hettinger

Visitation for Hazel H. Hettinger (nee Hogan), 99, of Palatine since 1942, will be held Monday, April 28, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine.  The Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Hazel was born April 22, 1915 in Chicago, and she passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at home.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Tim (Alice) Hogan,  Pat (Dennis) Winter, Mary (Dave) Boch, John (Kris) Hogan, Tom (Mary) Hogan,  James (Lucy) Hogan, and Mike (Suzanne) Hogan; many great nieces and nephews; 1 great-great niece; and brother-in-law, Bill Hettinger, and her caregiver, Natalie.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Willard K. Hettinger; parents, John and Lutie Mae (nee Bayes); brothers, Russell and Jack Hogan.
