Helen Victorine Johnson, 87, of Palatine formerly of Niles.

Visitation for Helen Victorine Johnson will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11:00am at All Saints Lutheran Church, 630 S. Quentin Road, Palatine.  The interment will be private.

Helen was born on December 31, 1925 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Victor and Gudrun (nee: Hansen) Bergman and passed away on Mothers Day, Sunday, May 12, 2013.

Helen was always an active and dedicated member in her local church including, Nebo Lutheran of Chicago, Resurrection Lutheran of Niles and All Saints Lutheran of Palatine.  She also enjoyed spending time with her friends in the 39ers group with whom she was confirmed in 1939.

Beloved wife of the late Robert C. Johnson; loving mother of Linda (Cliff and the late John Schetz M.D.)Dungey, Karen (Frederic) Jackson and Joan (Stephen) Fedota; cherished grandmother of Joseph (Tricia) Schetz and John (Emily) Schetz, Karen (Rob) Schilz, Julie (Brad) Schulz, Elizabeth (Capt. Stuart Jessup) Jackson, Kathryn (Fiancée David Johnson) and Jared Fedota; great grandmother of Megan, Connor, Molly, William, Henry, Caroline, Jackson, and Harrison; dear sister of Leroy (Late Sadie) Bergman and the late Ronald (Late Jean) Bergman; sister in law of Lillian (late Evert) Bjork, and the late Ralph (late Evelyn) Johnson; also surviving are many well loved nieces and nephews.
