Helena G. Leudo

Visitation for Helena G. Leudo, 80, of Arlington Heights will be on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 3:00 PM until time of the Funeral Service, 6:00 PM at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 East Algonquin Road, South Barrington.   The Interment will be private.

Helena was born on January 4, 1936 in Bogota, Colombia to Carlos and Elvira Gutierrez.  On March 25, 2016, God called his daughter Home.

Helena is wife of the late, Manuel F.  She joins her beloved son Herman Bueno in Heaven and she is survived  by her other children,  Maria B. (Paul) Nelson,  Christine  (Robert) Frank,  Phillip (Barbara),and  Maurice (Virginia); grandchildren, Eric, Christopher, Brian, Jonathan, Laurie, Aimee, Jennifer, Daniel, Sarah, and David; great-grandchildren, Cody, Delaney, Peyton, Austin, Justin, Cara, Gavin, Alex, Grace, Andrew, Carlyn and Baby Hatcher; siblings, Ignacio, Carlo, Luis and Elvira; and daughter in law, Carrie Bueno.  She was a loving aunt and sister in law to many.   

In addition to her parents and son Herman, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Leonor and Frank.

Our Granny, Nani, Mom, went home peacefully on Good Friday.  Throughout her life, Helena truly embodied the Fruits of the Holy Spirit:  Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control.  She was a testimony to all who knew her and a rock of faith to her family.
