Inez Horcher

Visitation with friends and family for Inez Horcher, 79, of Hawthorn Woods, will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.

A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at J & D’s after Mass at 26400 Old Rand Road, Wauconda.

She was born on May 15, 1942 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, to Lloyd and Alice Marie Berg. Inez passed away peacefully on May 13, 2022 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

Inez was the loving mother of Scott Horcher (deceased 2014) and Joel Horcher of Hawthorn Woods, IL.  She is a cherished grandmother of Elyssa and A.J. Horcher, sister of Gerald (Maryann) Berg, Lloyd Berg Jr. and the late Wallace Berg and Sonja Numerowski and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Inez owned her own cleaning business for 30 plus years and had built many friendships in Lake Zurich and surrounding communities.

She enjoyed spending time “up North” in Boulder Junction, WI at the family cabin with family and friends.  She always enjoyed planning and preparing the meals with her sister Sonja.  They both had such a generous spirit.

She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
