Irene E. Zimmerman

Visitation for Irene Emma Zimmerman (nee Bunna), 92, of Lake Zurich, formerly of Palm Harbor, Florida, will be held, Monday, January 4, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass, 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, IL, 60047.  Father David Ryan will officiate.  Visitation will continue Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Prayers, 2:00 p.m. at the Michels-Lindquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, Fl, 34652.  An Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of the Resurrection, Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, New Port Richey, Florida.

Irene was born March 14, 1923 in Fayette, Pennsylvania, and she passed away December 31, 2015 at JourneyCare, Barrington, Illinois.

Beloved wife of the late, George W. Cook, Howard B. Stevens and Harold Zimmerman; loving mother of Mary (Thomas) Szankowski and George (Philomine) Cook ; loving grandmother of  Matthew Cook, Joshua (Alicia) Cook and Jessica Cook; loving great-grandmother of Chase, Zane, Ariana, Xavier and Blake Cook; dear daughter of the late Louis and Mary (nee Kira) Bunna; fond sister of Mary (Walt) Krol and the late Joseph, Betty, Gail, Louie, Lil and Helen.

In lieu of flowers, masses would be appreciated.
