Irma Limon Reed

Visitation for Irma Limon Reed, 83, a long time resident of Arlington Height, will be held on Thursday, December 28^th, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Services, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 9:30 am on Friday, December 29^th, 2023 proceeding to St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine for Mass at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

Irma was born July 21, 1940 in McAllen, TX. The daughter of the late Francisco and Amelia (nee Alvarado) Limon and died December 15, 2023. Irma had been employed by School District 214 at Rolling Meadows High School where she worked in campus security. She was also a former long time volunteer with St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly in Palatine.

Irma was the beloved wife of the late Donald Orville Reed Sr.; Loving mother of Sandra (Jake) Jacobson, Donald O. (Laura) Reed Jr., James Michael (Barbara) Reed, Susan (Randy) Mary Mangan, the late Ana Maria Block and the late Thomas Frank Reed; dear grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 24; Fond sister of 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
