James C. Windgassen

Visitation for James C. Windgassen, 94, of Barrington will be from 3pm – 7pm Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415   S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Mass will be said at 10am on Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela St. (corner of Ela & Franklin) Barrington, IL.  An interment will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.  Jim was a very spiritual and kind hearted man.  He was always willing to help others in need. He enjoyed most, sharing these disciplines with his children and grandchildren.  Jim was very involved in his church and volunteered his time for many religious and charitable organizations.  He was the beloved husband of the late Marian; proud and loving father of Glenn, Jeanne (Luther) Vanover, Bill (Blanche), Gail (James) Drury, Sharon (James Wojdyla) Zak, Rick (Laura) and Nancy (Mike) Miller; grandfather of 17; great grandfather of 5; brother of the late Betty Rampleman.  In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to the Society for the Preservation of Human Dignity (PHD), 1610   W. Colonial Parkway, Palatine, IL 60067.
