James Stallwood

Visitation for James Stallwood, 92, of Palatine since 1959, will be on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 4:00 PM until the time of the Military Funeral Honors, 7:00 PM at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.

Jim was born on August 18, 1925 in Oak Park, IL. to Ernest and Irene Stallwood and passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

After serving in the US Air Force, Jim attended and graduated from Northwestern University.  In 1956, Jim married Lila Heikkinen. Professionally, Jim was a mechanical engineer for Western Electric.  He enjoyed working in his yard and big band music. Dear to Jim were the Northwestern Wildcats and his grandson, Andy.

Jim was the husband of the late Lila Stallwood.  He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (John) Campbell and grandson, Andy Campbell.
