Janet W. Woolfington

The Memorial Visitation for Janet W. Woolfington, 69, a lifelong resident of Palatine, will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 4:00PM until the time of the Memorial Service, 7:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

Born on September 15, 1946 in Palatine, IL the daughter of the late Clifford and Bernice (nee Metz) Wente and passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 with her loving family by her side.

Prior to Janet’s retirement she had worked for Kemper Insurance for 25 years. One of the things that Janet enjoyed was gathering monthly with the mothers and daughters for “Girls Night Out” which she was a part of for more than 19 years.

Beloved wife of 34 years of Lewis L. Woolfington; loving mother of Jeffrey (Dilsa) Elledge, David (Amy) Elledge and Michelle “Missy” (Larry) Kline; stepmother of

Linda (Chris) Pupich and Mark (Kathy) Woolfington; cherished grandmother of Adrian, Adam, Evelyn, Madeline, Jeffrey Jr., Gwendolyn, Jennifer, Grace, Jessica, Alexa, Joshua and Jacob; dear sister of John (Debra) Wente, Jayne (Hal) Staffeldt, Jeri (Richard) Byrd; fond niece of Louise Mangels; also survived many nieces, nephews and so many other loving family and friends.
