Janice A. Provenzano

Funeral Services and Interment for Janice A. Provenzano (nee Dougherty), 73, of Palatine since 1974, will be privately held by the family.

Janice was born May 14, 1947 in Washington, DC, and passed away April 6, 2021 at home in Palatine, surrounded by her family.

She was the beloved wife of Michael B. Provenzano; loving mother of Lauren (Chris) Shroyer, Michael Provenzano and Brian (Donna) Provenzano; loving grandmother of Alex, Jordan, Mikayla, Austin and Arianna; dear daughter of the late Colonel Edward and Evelyn (nee Armstrong) Dougherty; fond sister of Edward (late Georgia) Dougherty; dear aunt and grand-aunt of Justin, Coventry, Yarrow, Layla, Kyle, Jack, Liam and Zachary; fond sister-in-law of Camille Provenzano.

Janice was a Paralegal for Walkup and Goode until retirement, and she was past president of the Winston Campus PTA.  She was a snowbird who enjoyed the last 17 years in Naples, Florida during the winter months.
