Jean A. Miller

A Memorial Visitation for Jean A. Miller, 87, a longtime resident of Schaumburg, will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 3:00 p.m. at the Willow Creek Community Church Chapel, 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington.  The Interment will be private.

Jean was born on January 25, 1928, in Evanston, IL, the daughter of the late James and Jane (nee: Clarke) Ironside.  On Wednesday, September 23, 2015, Jean went “Over the Rainbow” to be at home with the Lord.

Her greatest joy was being a mother to her 2 daughters and a grandmother to her cherished grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by her friends and her church community.

Jean was the loving mother of Christine (James) Murphy and Janet (Carl) Lewis; cherished grandmother of Heather (Robert) O’Rourk, Daniel Murphy, James Handwerker, Ellen Murphy, Michelle (Derrick) Johnston, Bonnie Murphy and Alex Handwerker; loving great-grandmother of Adrianna, Kendall and Derrick; dear sister of Marilyn Tyckoson; and aunt of 4 nephews, 2 grand-nephews and a grand- niece.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated in memory of Jean, for the Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington, IL 60010.
