Jean passed away peacefully on September 1, 2020 in Arlington Heights, IL. Jean was born in Evanston, IL on July 1, 1929.

She was the dear daughter of William and Marie (nee Schulien) Rohrer and sister of the late William Rohrer and the late Robert Rohrer and Catherine Rohrer Fink. Jean was the loving mother of Robert (Susan) Louis, James (Pam) Louis, Carolyn (Michael) Bailey, William (Kathy) Louis, Thomas (Jully) Louis, John (Suzanne) Louis, and Kevin (Amy) Louis; loving grandmother of Tim, Mike, and Justin Louis, Sarah Moriarty, Tyler Louis, Mike and Maggie Bailey, Kelly and Erin Louis, C.J. Park, David, A.J., Ethan, Hope, and Abby Louis and many great-grandchildren.

Jean gave her heart to Jesus at the age of seven. She followed him from that day forward. Jean hosted many Bible studies in her home in Palatine. Her love for the Lord was demonstrated by her outpouring of love for family, neighbors, friends, and countless acquaintances. Jean’s favorite place was her kitchen where she loved preparing delicious food for her family and friends. She always had her door open for conversation, a cup of tea and her homemade banana bread. Her legacy will be the unconditional love she had for all of God’s children. To know Jean was to love her.
