Visitation for Jeanine A Wilson (née Bochat), 58, of Hoffman Estates, will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2020 also at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home in Palatine. An Entombment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Jeanine was born September 8, 1961, and passed away quietly on March 10, 2020 surrounded by family and friends after a 12 year battle with breast cancer.

Jeanine was the beloved wife of Bill Van De Hey; dear daughter of Ken (Linda) Bochat and the late Celeste Bochat; fond sister of Jim Bochat and Karen (Ken) Roiland; caring aunt of Tommy, Alex and Joey Bochat and Nikki and Betsy Roiland.

Jeanine was a 1983 graduate of University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1994 she earned her Masters in Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management.

Jeanine retired from Trustmark Small Business Benefits in 2019 after a 30 year career as a Senior Legislative Analyst. She loved music and was a member of Ravinia Festival for many years. She had a passion for jewelry, especially her birth stone, blue sapphire. A self proclaimed wine connoisseur, she visited many, many vineyards and enjoyed wine tasting. A cat lover, she was “mom” to 12 cats over the years.

A lover of travel, Jeanine was a Diamond Plus Crown and Anchor member of the Royal Caribbean. She also traveled extensively through Europe, especially Italy and France. She and her husband Bill also own Mt. Carroll Bowling Center in Mt. Carroll, IL.
