Jeffery J. Macdonald

A Memorial Visitation for Jeffery John MacDonald of Palatine, will take place on Sunday, May 29, 2016 from 1:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service, 4:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The Reverend David Heim officiating.

Jeffery was born on January 3, 1957 in Port Huron, MI, and passed away April 25, 2016.

He was the devoted husband of Susan, nee Stewart; loving father to his son Robert “Bob”  (daughter-in-law Jaclyn) Richardson and his daughter Elizabeth (son-in-law Brian) Carlson; loved son of Norma, nee Bartley (special friend William Boyd) and the late Dallas W. MacDonald; dear brother of Gary, Nancy (Frank) Humphries and the late David MacDonald.

His greatest joy was being the Papa to his cherished grandchildren, Jessica Michelle age 10 and Joseph James age 5 Carlson and Victoria Grace “Tori” age 5 and Alexander Dallas “Alex” age 4 Richardson.

Jeffery is also survived by many members of his extended family whose lives and families he kept abreast of, in person and on social media.
