Memorial Visitation for Joan M. Cutts (nee Essling), 83, a 55 year resident of Streamwood, will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Damian Catholic Church, 131 S. Crest Avenue, Bartlett, IL. Inurnment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin, next to her late husband, Earl, who preceded her in death on May 31, 1994.
She was born in Elmhurst, to the late Ann Henning and Albert Essling and passed away October 31, 2013.
Mrs. Cutts, as a registered nurse, cared for newborn babies and their mothers for 41 years at AlexianBrothersMedicalCenter in Elk Grove Village. She was a Minister of Care at St. Peter Damian Catholic Church for many years.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Stampfli of Bartlett, Carol Green of Streamwood, Kevin (Pam) of Lake Zurich and Brian (Marie) of Chesapeake, VA.; eight grandchildren, David (Angel) Stampfli, Kristine (Jeff) Coleman, Vickie (Michael) Kinder, Ashley (Jeremy) Libbe, Jacob and Rachel Cutts, Zachary & Matthew Cutts; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Father Harold Essling, CSC of Austin, TX and Don (Evie) Essling of Aurora, and sister-in-law Karen (Gary) Knudson of Florida. Many nieces, nephews and friends will also miss her.
