John C. Winters

Visitation for John Charles Winters, 91, a longtime resident of Palatine, will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 9:00AM until the time of prayers, 10:30AM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, proceeding to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton Street, Palatine for the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM.  The Interment will follow at Town of Maine Cemetery in Park Ridge.

John was born on February 12, 1924 in Chicago, IL the son of the late James and Agnes (nee Smith) Winters and passed away on Monday evening September 21, 2015.

John was a U.S. Army Airforce Veteran of WWII. Prior to retirement John was a longtime United Airlines employee.

Beloved husband of the late Joan Barbara (nee: Ahbe) Winters; loving father of Sandy (Steven Bark) Harris; dear brother of James Winters; fond uncle of Jimmy, Ricky and Marie Margaret Winters; also surviving are many other loving family and friends; preceded in death by three sisters Madge, Agnes and Ann.
