Josefina M. Jetton

Visitation for Josefina Maclang Jetton, 75, of Palatine, will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on April 21, 2022, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  A Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00 am on April 23, 2022, at St. Thomas Becket 1321 N Burning Bush Ln, Mount Prospect, proceeding to All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines for the Committal Service.

Josie was a strong, independent, proud, intellectual woman and a single mother of two. She had very strong family values, and strong in her faith. She would always say, “Family will always be there. Blood is thicker than water.”

Josie worked as a chemical engineer, one of the few women of her time. She loved being in and caring for her garden, and love and care for her fur babies.

Josefina was the loving mother of Leilani Mendoza and Winston Mendoza, and fur babies Montgomery and Buddy; significant other of Steven Kratkoczki; grandmother of Paris Uch, Haley Mendoza, Winston Mendoza Jr., and Maverick Mendoza.

She is preceded in death by her parents Pastor and Basilia Maclang; her brother Pastor Maclang Jr; her sister Miniviluz Jimenez; brother-in-law Rudolfo Jimenez; Antonio Mendoza; her fur babies MacArthur, Mokey, Peanut, and Zeus.
